BOOK REVIEW: SHRILL BY LINDY WEST
4.25 stars
“Please don’t forget: I am my body. When my body gets smaller, it is still me. When my body gets bigger, it is still me. There is not a thin woman inside me, awaiting excavation. I am one piece.”

I absolutely loved this. Lindy is such a brilliant writer. She never misses a beat, regardless of what she's talking about, whether that be abortion, women in comedy, her relationships—you name it. You know you love a book when you wanna audibly shout YES!! YES!! as you're reading it. Lindy gives a voice to so many things I've always known but haven't been able to voice, and also to so many things I never knew or thought much about. Oh, and by the way, LINDY IS HILARIOUS—something which is, I think, made more apparent when she reads you the book herself, via the audiobook.
